Where it stops
Four things Flowius will not do.
Automation sold as limitless is automation that will surprise you. These are the edges, stated up front.
- It will not decide. Flows move work and information. Anything that needs judgement stops, asks a named person, and waits.
- It will not hide a failure. A step that fails retries three times, then posts the error and the inputs into the channel that owns the flow. Nothing fails quietly.
- It will not replace an integration platform. If you need two-way sync between two databases with conflict resolution, buy a tool built for that. We move events, not schemas.
- It will not run without a human owner. Every flow has one, shown on the flow. Ownerless automation is how a company ends up afraid of its own tooling.

What happens when a flow breaks at 2am?
It retries three times with backoff. If it still fails, the run is marked failed, the inputs are preserved, and the flow's owner gets the error in their channel. Nothing is silently dropped and nothing is half-applied — a failed run can be replayed from the point it stopped once the cause is fixed.
Do we need an engineer to build these?
Not for the six flows above — those are assembled from blocks in an afternoon. You will want an engineer for anything using the HTTP block against your own API, and for the transformations that go with it. Most teams have one person who becomes the flow owner and never needs a second.
Where does our data actually go?
Through us, briefly. Payloads are held only as long as a run takes, then only the log line and the fields you chose to keep. Logs are retained for 30 days by default, configurable down to 24 hours. We run in eu-central-1 and can stay there contractually.
What does it cost when we grow?
Priced per live flow, not per run or per seat. A flow that fires 400 times a month and one that fires 40,000 cost the same, because the second one is the one earning its keep and charging extra for it would be an odd way to say well done.
